Over 80 per cent of the transport and logistics regulations are made at the EU level. FinMobility is actively influencing the EU legislative process affecting the transport sector – from early preparation to final decision-making across the EU institutions. Our objective is to ensure that the Finnish point of view is effectively represented in EU-level discussion. While we bring the messages of the members of FinMobility into the EU’s decision-making, we also transfer the information from Brussels to our members.

FinMobility works widely and transparently with the Brussels-based representatives of traffic sectors. Our key partners are the Permanent Representation of Finland to the EU, authorities of different member states and the national and international business organisations. We also participate in the activities of our members’ umbrella organisations.
EU advocacy at FinMobility is led and coordinated by Head of Office Pasi Moisio and Advisor Katriina Korhonen. Our office is located in the heart of Brussels’ EU quarter.
